Mr. Lee Life Portrait Collage
Listening is a theological virtue, in it you can appreciate much more than you plan. This work is an inspiration from the biblical text Isaiah 30:21 where the central character is a man with a happy and hopeful appearance, his life is a reflection of how God has guided and sustained him in the middle of the road.
Mr. Lee, gifted with profound sciences such as physics, has transferred much knowledge and growth to generations over the years of his life. His family is a means of grace for many, which I am a witness to, and I am grateful for them.
The painting contains cold and warm colors maintaining a contrast between the charged and convulsive as well as the clear and clear, this gives an emphasis on where our sight is placed and let’s say faith, there is the mystery of the great and the glory itself, we only invite you . to wait and listen in amazement to what God has done for you.

My mom commissioned this special painting for my father to honor his desire to listen to God’s voice and lead our family of six in the paths He designed. Henny beautifully captured my dad’s background in science (right side of painting), highlighting a listening ear and looking into the bright future that is often unclear. I love that Henny added the reflection of a distant cross in the right lens of dad’s glasses. Henny truly captured dad’s life story with a canvas & paint! Thank you!
